recommended for fans of atlas sound, cloud nothings, perfume genius, beach house, the national, wavves and arcade fire, as well as older bands such as the wipers, joy division, television and magazine, this is the sixth home-made video by santa barbara's waiting around to die. the band has been described as "industrial shoegazer/post-punk," and are a duo with an unpredictable yet powerful live show and subversive tendencies. this video is the third that the band has created for their as yet untitled sophomore album, which they are in the process of recording. their aim is to initially self release the album as a music/film dvd only project. each song will have a home-made video interpretation to go along with it, and they will be posting the videos AS the songs are completed. enjoy this noisy and emotionally stirring band!
